Oinver
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
Oinver (“Oinver”, “we”, “I”) is a personal wine-membership service operated by Eduard Bezverhnii. This policy explains what personal data I collect, why, and what rights you have. I take your privacy seriously — I'm one person, and I only collect what I need to send you good wine.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Eduard Bezverhnii (Oinver), Greece. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@oinver.com.
What I collect
- Account details — your name and email address when you create an account.
- Taste profile — your answers to the taste quiz and the ratings you give bottles, used to personalise your recommendations.
- Membership & billing — your chosen plan and subscription status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; I never see or store your full card number.
- Delivery details — the shipping address you provide for your boxes.
- Reviews — anything you submit through the review form.
- Technical data — basic logs and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
How I use it
- To run your membership: match bottles to your palate, ship your boxes, and manage billing.
- To email you about your account (welcome, order and subscription updates, replies to you).
- To improve recommendations based on your ratings.
- To verify you are of legal drinking age before shipping alcohol.
Legal basis (GDPR)
I process your data to perform our contract (your membership), to comply with legal obligations (such as age-restricted sales and tax records), and — where relevant — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who I share it with
I use a small number of trusted providers, only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — secure database hosting (EU region).
- Resend — sending transactional emails.
- Vercel — website hosting.
I never sell your data, and I don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long I keep it
I keep your data for as long as you have an account, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can ask me to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@oinver.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
Oinver uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated by email.
